About the Role

Paladin Drones is seeking a Revenue Operations (RevOps) to own and optimize the revenue engine across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Implementation. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across a complex, multi-stage sales cycle involving hardware sales, SaaS subscriptions, deployments, renewals, and expansions—often within public-sector procurement environments.

The ideal candidate is systems-minded, analytically strong, and comfortable operating in a mission-critical, high-growth environment where accuracy, clarity, and execution matter.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Lifecycle Ownership (Hardware + SaaS)

  • Design, optimize, and maintain end-to-end revenue processes across lead generation, opportunity management, hardware sales, SaaS subscriptions, deployments, renewals, and expansions
     
  • Support complex deal structures including multi-year contracts, pilots, phased rollouts, and bundled hardware/software offerings
     
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure clean handoffs from close → deployment → go-live → renewal
     

Systems & Data Integrity

  • Own and optimize Paladin’s CRM and revenue tech stack (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, billing, contract management, support tools)
     
  • Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline, hardware inventory tied to deals, subscription terms, and renewal dates
     
  • Establish data governance, process documentation, and system adoption standards
     

Forecasting, Reporting & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards for pipeline health, deal stages, deployment timelines, ARR, hardware revenue, churn, and expansion
     
  • Own revenue forecasting across hardware and recurring SaaS revenue streams
     
  • Partner with Finance and Leadership to align bookings, revenue recognition, and deployment milestones
     

Public Sector & Procurement Support

  • Support Sales with operational workflows tailored to public safety agencies and government procurement cycles
     
  • Track RFPs, pilots, approvals, and extended sales timelines within CRM and reporting
     
  • Ensure visibility into deal risk, timing, and dependencies
     

Compensation & Performance Operations

  • Support sales compensation plan design and administration across hardware and SaaS revenue
     
  • Track quota attainment, commissions, and performance metrics
     
  • Ensure incentive structures reinforce long-term customer success and retention
     

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and Finance
     
  • Support onboarding and enablement for GTM hires on systems, processes, and data usage
     
  • Lead or support revenue-related projects that improve scalability and predictability
     

Qualifications

Required

  • 4–7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations
     
  • Experience supporting hardware + SaaS or complex B2B sales models
     
  • Strong CRM ownership experience and comfort managing interconnected systems
     
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
     
  • Proven ability to build scalable processes in a growing organization
     

Preferred

  • Experience selling into public safety, government, or regulated industries
     
  • Familiarity with subscription metrics (ARR, churn, expansion) alongside one-time hardware revenue
     
  • Experience supporting long sales cycles, pilots, and multi-stakeholder deals
     
  • Comfort working in a mission-driven, high-urgency environment
